Here's one that has been in the closet for awhile, a portfolio piece painted in 1993 while I was doing illustration work for an agency.  Kind of New-age in it's excessive representation of crystal formations, as well as with the winged subjects in the foreground — the male holding a lyre seems to give them an even more angelic disposition — but it also leans a little sci-fi in its other-worldliness, what with Saturn in the background and all of the fascinating geology — Anne McCaffrey meets the Sirens of Titan, or whatever...

Astounding depth and color; projecting a cool and calming ambience, once you get used to the waterfalls thundering in your mind's ear... Especially to be enjoyed while listening to Handel's Water Music!
