A trip backwards in time through a
contracted universe just might land you somewhere like this, especially
if it's a fishing expedition you're on. Here I've taken
approximately three miles of Riverbanks Road — from Finley Bend to
Robertson Bridge — and collapsed it into about three hundred yards,
clearing out the houses and the worst of the brush (not to mention
Griffin Park...) to give it a more deep woodsy feel, kind of like it
probably had back in the 30s or 40s when the bridge was moved here
from Riverside Park in Grants Pass and the road got its first lane of
pavement.
